E.Z.N.A.® Plasmid Maxi Kit

The E.Z.N.A.® Plasmid Maxi Kit is the maxi scale system to deliver high-quality plasmid DNA using the spin column format, without costly accessories. The HiBind® DNA Maxi Column facilitates the binding, washing, and elution steps, thus enabling multiple samples to be simultaneously processed. Although yields vary according to plasmid copy number, E.coli strain, and conditions of growth, 50-200 mL of overnight culture in LB medium typically produces 0.5-1 mg of high copy number plasmid DNA. Up to 500 mL of culture may be processed when working with low copy number plasmid. The product is suitable for automated fluorescent DNA sequencing (typical reads exceed 800 bp), restriction enzyme digestion, transfection of mammalian cells, transcription in vitro, and other applications
